ABOUT US
Welcome to St. Joseph School,
Home of the Dragons!
Dear St. Joseph Catholic School Families,
Welcome to St. Joseph Catholic School! Whether you are a returning family or joining us for the first time, we are thrilled to welcome you into our vibrant, faith-filled community. It is an exciting time to be a part of St. Joseph, and we are grateful you have chosen to partner with us on this important journey in your child’s education and formation.
At St. Joseph, we are more than just a school, we are a Christ-centered family rooted in dignity, excellence, and social justice. Our mission guides everything we do: to promote rigorous academics focused on Catholic identity and to form students who are healthy, prayerful, just citizens, effective communicators, and good stewards of the gifts they have been given. Each child is seen, known, and loved as a unique creation of God, and we are committed to nurturing not only their academic growth, but their moral and spiritual development as well.
We are also proud to be part of Pax Christi Academies, a network of schools reimagining Catholic education in partnership with Church leaders and families. As a Pax Christi Academy, St. Joseph is committed to fostering excellence in Faith, Intellect, Character, and Citizenship. Through this mission, we provide our students the opportunity to encounter Christ, excel academically, and thrive in a supportive and joy-filled learning environment.
This year, we invite you to walk alongside us in building a strong, engaged community. From liturgical celebrations and service projects to school events and volunteer opportunities, there are many ways to get involved and contribute to the life of our school. Together, we are forming children who will become leaders in faith and service, ready to make a positive impact in the world.
Communication will remain a cornerstone of our partnership. We will keep you informed through newsletters, our school website, and parent platforms such as Class Dojo. Our doors and hearts are always open, so please don’t hesitate to reach out to your child’s teacher, the school office, or myself if you have any questions, concerns, or ideas to share.
Thank you for entrusting us with your child’s education. We look forward to a year filled with growth, discovery, and joy, and we are honored to be on this journey with your family. Let us move forward together with faith, hope, and love at the center of all we do.
Welcome to the St Joseph Catholic School Family!

Prayer
Prayer is an integral part of each day. Morning prayer, prayer before meals, prayer before dismissal, and prayers for special intentions are recited throughout the day.
Liturgy
We come together as a school to celebrate the liturgy at the 8:15 Mass one day a week and once a month on Sunday. School liturgies are prepared monthly by teachers and students and participated in by school staff, parents, and students. Holy days of obligation are observed.
Students have the opportunity to prepare special liturgies for faith formation. These may include student body Masses, prayer services, Stations of the Cross, the Living Rosary, May Crowning, scripture readings, and meditations.
Sacraments
Reconciliation is offered twice a year for students in grades 2-8. Students in second grade and up, who have been baptized and receive instruction in the School Sacramental Program, are eligible to receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation and First Holy Eucharist.
Baptism is also offered to those students in need of this sacrament. Sacramental programs are coordinated through the Parish office.
What is a Pax Christi School?
A New Model for Catholic Education
Pax Christi Academies is a network of five parish-based Preschool–8th Grade schools in Orange County, founded in 2024 to revitalize Catholic education. Led by a dedicated team and supported by church leadership, Pax Christi Academies empowers clergy to focus on parish life while ensuring students grow in faith, intellect, character, and citizenship.
Rooted in Christ and committed to academic excellence, Pax Christi Academies offers a new model, accessible, mission-driven, and built for the future.
